University Experience

Networking with a range of influential and qualified professionals is clearly of benefit as are the many exercises and presentations. Of equal importance in this conference is the weight given to meeting like-minded young people from across the country. You will have the opportunity to socialise with those young men and women with whom you can expect to share a future at university. To experience the academic and social life of university before either selecting a course or university is an invaluable opportunity and should not be missed. As with all Workshop events, it should be recognised that for those attending this will be an opportunity to sample University life, before choosing either a place or course of study and should not be missed.

The Conference - Enhance Your Application

Law, its study and practice, is one of the most important and challenging areas of work and study open to intelligent and motivated young people. Through a rich selection of presentations this conference seeks to capture the breadth and excitement of law, as both an academic subject, and as a profession. For this reason the conference offers an excellent opportunity for anyone with a serious interest in law as either a career or subject of study. Further we are delighted to offer Exploring Law Plus, an extra day of events specifically tailored for those who know that law is their chosen career, and for students who are anxious to improve their opportunities for applying to universities known for their excellence. The session is now offered without the need to stay a second night or miss time at school or college. Exploring Law Plus also offers the opportunity for you to complete a mock UCAS form and be interviewed on that form to determine how you might improve for your actual interview. The cost of this mock interview is just £6.50 and should be pre-booked.

How Will The Conference Help You

Competition for places at Law School is fierce, as law attracts many of the best and brightest students. Against this background the conference aims to equip students to deal more effectively with the challenge of winning a place at Law School, through to improving their understanding of law as they prepare for Advanced and A/S exams. Employing a careful selection of topics and the opportunity to network with lawyers and judges, this conference offers an essential advantage for any interested in the law as a course of study or career. Further, building on the core elements of the conference, Exploring Law Plus aims to improve communication skills, develop personal confidence and provide students with the essential information and support necessary for achieving their potential.
